The ceremony and reception will all be held on the lodge grounds. We would love to have everyone stay on the property with us. There are multiple cabin and room layouts to accommodate different sized groups. However if you would like to stay in a nearby vacation rental, there are many available very close to Cedar Glen Lodge. Getting Here
There are many ways to get to Lake Tahoe and we have listed all of the best options below with links to maps and travel options.
Fly to Reno
Rent a car or use North Tahoe Express shuttle services to reach Tahoe Vista. This route only takes about 45 mins to get to Tahoe. Shuttle services may take longer.
Fly to Sacramento
While there is a train that goes to Truckee, it would be most efficient to rent a car to get to Tahoe from the larger airports. While not as scenic, this option will be much shorter than going to San Francisco. Route is about 1.5 hours by car.
Fly to San Francisco
If you have time for an extended trip it’s always fun to travel to San Francisco and drive up from there. There are so many of our favorite parts of California to see on the way up from the bay. The Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio Park, Caramel by the Sea, Sausalito, Berkeley, Napa, Sonoma, and so much more!
It takes about 4 hours on average to drive from SFO straight through to Tahoe.
